Urs Haji Mohammad Murad Bukhari (R.A.) arrangements finalized

B’la :To finalize arrangements for celebration of Urs of Hazrat Syed Haji Mohammad Murad Bukhari (R.A.) at Kreeri Baramulla being observed on July 16, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Baramulla, Zahoor Ahmad Raina Wednesday chaired a meeting of officers of RDD, FCS&CA, Revenue, PHE, PDD, R&B, RDD, Health, MVD, F&ES and Police.
Secretary and members of Sub-AuqaafKreeri also attended the meeting.
On the occasion, the ADC was apprised that all necessary arrangements have been put in place for the celebration of the Urs. It was given out that electricity, water supply, health facilities, street lighting, ration and supply of essential commodities has already been put in place at Kreeri.
It was also added that traffic management plan has already been put in place and additional transport facilities will be made during these days.
On the occasion, the ADC issued strict instructions to the concerned officers to ensure availability of all essential basic facilities for the general public during the celebration of the Urs.
The ADC impressed upon the officers that people should not face any inconvenience during these days. He also directed the officers of Fire and Emergency services to keep a Fire brigade available all the time during the Urs days. The Block Medical Officer was also directed to keep an ambulance and a medical team ready at Kreeri on all days.
