Covid- 19 In JK: No new death reported in last 24 hours, toll stays at 4758

Srinagar: Jammu & Kashmir Government in it’s daily covid bulletin on Wednesday said that 140 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) including 96 from Jammu division and 44 from Kashmir Valley reported in last 24 hours raised the total number of positive cases to 456291, Stating therein further that with no new covid death reported in last 24 hours from any where in Jammu & Kashmir the J&K’s overall covid death toll stayed at 4758.
Government in it’s above quoted daily Covid bulletin also said that moreover, 109 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 62 from Jammu division and 47from Kashmir division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 456291 positive cases, 769are Active Positive (466in Jammu Division and 303 in Kashmir Division), 450764 have recovered and 4758 have died; 2333 in Jammu division and 2425 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 25897392 test results available, 456291samples have tested positive and 25441101 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 8,539 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6596532 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 278 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 769 in isolation and 375 in home surveillance. Besides, 6590352 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for Wednesday, the Bulletin informs that Jammu reported 74 cases, Srinagar reported 41 cases, Udhampur reported 11 cases, Doda reported 04 cases, Rajouri reported 03cases, Kathua, Ganderbal and Samba reported 02 cases each, Kulgam reported 01 case while as no other district across Jammu and Kashmir reported any fresh case.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
