Srinagar: Additional director general of police Vijay Kumar on Tuesday said that they are analyzing CCTV footage of the Srinagar attack following which the militants involved in the attack will be identified and neutralized very soon.
The ADGP while talking to media persons here at srinagar, said that the militants fired upon a small naka party at Lal Bazar which was laid there to regulate the traffic rush.
“Being a small naka team militants took advantage of it and fired indiscriminately upon them, resulting in the on-spot death of an ASI and injuring two other policemen. He said that the injured cops are stable as they are being treated at hospital.
He said that they are analyzing the CCTV footage of the Srinagar attack following which the militants involved in the attack will be identified and neutralized very soon.
Earlier, an ASI was killed, while two other policemen were injured after militants opened fire on Lal Bazar Hazratbal road in Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Tuesday evening(KNS)
