Srinagar| July,12 : One Assistant Sub Inspector of J&K Police and two more policemen were on Tuesday injured in a militant attack on a naka party of police in Lal Bazar area of old Srinagar city, Police said here.
On it’s twitter handle Kashmir Zone Police said that ASI Mushtaq Ahmad succumbed to his injuries , stating therein that Police pays tributes to slain ASI for the sacrifice he has made in the line of duty, stating further that the other two injured personnel are being treated and further details shall follow.
In an earlier tweet Kashmir Zone Police has said that militant have fired upon police naka party at Lal Bazar area of Srinagar city during which three police personnel were injured and they were immediately shifted to hospital for treatment, stating therein that the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
