Incessant rains: Distt admin Rajouri form emergency control rooms

Heavy rains, light snowing bring back cold wave lie conditions in Kashmir

Rajouri: The district administration has issued emergency numbers given the prevailing weather conditions and continuous rainfall. It has also advised people in the district to remain alert and maintain precautionary.

Announcements were also made Saturday from mosques, temples and other religious establishments to stay alert and inform local administration in case of any exigency. The public was told not to venture near rivers nallahs, landslide-prone areas, river beds and low-lying areas, and to avoid unnecessary travel.
