Jammu :Exhibition of Innovative Science Models was organised by the Bio Science Club of Government College of Education Thursday.
B.Ed students participated in the exhibition and showcased their innovative science models. The objective of the exhibition was to educate the pupil teachers to improvise and to use these models to teach basic concepts of general science.
Principal of the College, Dr KulvinderKour lauded the efforts of the students and Convener of the Bio-Science Club Dr JyotiParihar appreciated the role of these innovations to understand the new trends in teaching and learning of science.
Prof Anju Bala, Dr RajinderKour and Prof K. K. Magotra were the jury members for the event.
The first position was bagged by Shavani, second position was secured by RinchenDolkar and the third spot was shared by PallveeManhas and Priya Khajuria. Consolation prizes were awarded to MehakKhajuria, Richa Sharma and Rakhi. Certificate of participation was presented to all the participants. Vote of thanks was presented by Student Convener, Arushi Sharma
