DDC Rajouri reviews online services, integration with RAS platform

Rajouri :District Development Commissioner, Vikas Kundal Thursday chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review the status of switch over of government services to online mode.
The DDC reviewed the status of schemes being implemented in the district through online mode and their integration with the Rapid Assessment System (RAS). RAS is a user-friendly digital feedback mechanism that enables citizens to provide effective feedback on the services provided to them through SMS and web link, thereby enhancing transparency and accountability.
Underlining the objective of switching over services to online mode, he said that the initiative is one more step towards ensuring transparency and accountability in the functioning of the Government institutions. He said that the initiative would promote transparency, accountability and responsive work culture in departments.
The DDC directed for ensuring quality of services and also enjoined upon the concerned officers to undertake regular analysis of the quality of services being provided to the general public. He also issued instructions for taking timely corrective interventions to raise public satisfaction with regard to their services.
