DC Reasi reviews Ransoo town plan

Reasi : District Development Commissioner BabilaRakwal chaired a meeting to review the Town Plan Scheme for Ransoo at the district headquarters Thursday.
The members of the Shiv Khori Shrine Board informed that survey of the proposed main avenue and circular road has been conducted by all allied departments with the help of Town Planner and the remaining exercise would be completed within the next 10 days.
The DC directed Jammu Power Development Corporation Limited (JPDCL) and the Tourism Department to submit a proposal for installation of heavy duty mast lights and ornamental lights on the proposed roads of the Master Town Plan. Directions were also passed to create an online portal to provide hassle free services to the locals of Ransoo for granting building permissions for construction.
During the meeting, issues pertaining to water and power supply and regarding protection of the Shiv KhoriBhawan area from shooting stones were also discussed and directions were issued to the concerned to complete all the pending works at the earliest.
Among others, Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner (Rev), Assistant Commissioner (Dev), Executive Engineer PWD, Executive Engineer JPDCL, Assistant Director Tourism Katra and DGM KRCL also attended the meeting.
