VC DDC holds interactive meet at Khoon

Udhampur :Vice Chairperson DDC Udhampur, Juhi Manhas Pathania held an interactive meet at BDO Office Khoon to help the locals voice their grievances and raise their routine issues.
The meet was attended by PRIs as well as prominent citizens of block Khoon. BDO Khoon, VikasVerma along with other officers were also present at the occasion.
The Vice Chairperson urged the people to proactively avail benefits of Centrally Sponsored Schemes. She called upon the officers to reach out to the people and ensure that people are educated about the various schemes.
She called for enlisting all eligible persons under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
The public also raised issues which include inclusion of roads: Dhar to Sortha, Bilaspur to Banu and Gadena to Kutt, under NABARD. They also called for operationalization of filtration plants to ensure supply of clean drinking water to the public.
Demand for punitive action against PWD as well as contractor agency in Girls Hostel, GS Banj, was also sought at the meet. Issues regarding restoration of roads, irrigation canals, electricity and drinking water supply lines, and starting of ITI were also raised at the meeting.
Prominent among those who were present included Sarpanchs Ramesh Gupta, Raman Khajuria, Mohan Lal Sharma, Manoj Verma; Namrata Bali, Kuldeep Singh, Ved Sharma, Jyoti Devi among other locals.
