Ramban : District Agriculture Department provided a motorised vending cart to a marginal farmer with subsidy of Rs 50 thousand under CAPEX budget 2022-23 here Wednesday. Ishfaq Ahmed of Halla was handed over the cart by President Municipal Council Ramban, SunitaSubmria in presence of the DDC Councilor RenukaKatoch.
Speaking on the occasion, SunitaSumbria informed that the Agriculture Department has provided agriculture machinery on 50 percent subsidised rates to the marginal farmers to strengthen innovative farming besides enhancing agriculture production against low cost of labour.
Chief Agriculture Officer Dr Ashwani Kumar; District Agriculture Officer, RC Pandoh; SDAO, SudhirManhas; AEO Halla, PremChenabi and SCA RambanVikramJeet Singh among others were also present on the occasion.
