Pulwama:Department of Physical Education & Sports GDC Tral participated in Inter College atheletic meet 2022 organised by IUST Awantipora a day back, where they emerged as Runner Up in the overall athletic meet.
As per press release issued by GDC Tral, Athletes from College showed their dominance both in track as well as field events. Humyrah Afzal of GDC Tral emerged as the best athelete of the event as she got 3 gold medals in Long jump, Shotput and Javellion throw.
“The overall medal tally of GDC Tral in the athletic meet remained as 4 Gold medals, 2 Silver medals and 11 bronze medals.”
Principal of the college, Prof. Mushtaq Ahmad Lone praised the athletes for their brilliant performance in the event and bringing laurels to the college and assured them the full support from college for enhancing their skill level.
Moreover, Principal also encouraged athletes to work harder in order to reach higher platforms.
