Dir FCS&CA reviews stock, supply position of ration, essential commodities at Kupwara

Kupwara :Director Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Kashmir, Dr. Abdul Salam Mir Tuesday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the stock and supply position of ration and essential commodities in Kupwara.
During the meeting, the Director was informed that sufficient stock of ration and essential commodities is available in the district including in border areas of Karnah, Keran and Machill.
In view of upcoming Eid-ul-Adha festival, the Director stressed upon the officers to intensify market checking drives against black marketing and profiteering by unscrupulous shopkeepers
The Director also took a detailed review of overall functioning of the department. He directed the officers for revivification of AAY and PHH beneficiaries for 100 percent implementation of supply chain system.
He also impressed them to ensure cent percent distribution of ration through PoS.
Assistant Director FCS&CA Kupwara, Wali Mohammad; Tehsil Supply Officers and other concerned attended the meeting.
