DC inaugurates CBRC in Rajouri

Rajouri :Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundal Tuesday inaugurated Cradle Baby Reception Centre here adjacent to NariNiketanRajouri.
Among the others, ADDC, Pawan Kumar; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt; TSWO, Rahul Puri; Superintendent Narinikatan, Nidhi Sharma and staff members of the Narinikatan were present at the event.
Speaking at the event, the Deputy Commissioner said that the CBRC has been set up in the district for the proper nourishment and growth of the abandoned children.
“The initiative will be a milestone in the implementation of the juvenile justice act in the district”, the DC said.
He also asked the staff deployed for running the CBRC to perform their duties with utmost zeal and dedication to facilitate proper upbringing of the abandoned children.
The DC also said that the District administration is taking a series of steps to provide best possible care as well as educational opportunities to the inmates and safeguard their rights and promote their welfare in the society.
He also inspected NariNiketan and interacted with inmates and enquired about the facilities being provided by the department.
