Kulgam : Taking governance to the doorsteps of people and to get first hand appraisal of grievances, issues and demands of people, the Deputy Commissioner, (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Saturday visited Budroo Frisal and presided over grievances redressal camp here.
On the occasion, locals and the PRI members called upon the DC and raised various demands and issues and requested for their disposal at the earliest.
During this grievance redressed camp, several issues and grievances projected by the people were grievances of people were redressed on spot.
Meanwhile, DC also announced an amount of Rs 10 lac for development of playfield in the village which was highly appreciated by the youth.
Later the Deputy Commissioner along with the DDC member Frisal Anayatullah Rather inaugurated a water supply scheme including a filtration plant for Budroo Demidulla.
It was informed that more than ten thousand people will get benefited through this water supply scheme. It was further informed that the scheme come up with an estimated cost of 2.90 crore under JKIDFC.
Pertinent to mention that this was a long pending demand of people of the area which got fulfilled Saturday and people of these areas appreciated the administration for fulfilling the demand.
