DC B’pora reviews progress of developmental projects executed by J&K Housing Board

B’Pora : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora Dr. Owais Ahmad on Saturday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of various development projects being executed by J&K Housing Board besides reviewed the functioning of the health care system in the district.
The meeting held threadbare discussion regarding various works executed by J&K Housing Board and pending works of various functional projects.
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed work wise status of various projects executed by J&K Housing Board.
While reviewing the physical progress of new building CHC Hajin, the DC directed the concerned to immediately complete the minor works and make the new building functional for shifting of Hospital.
He said funds should not be an issue and directed the concerned to ensure timely completion of the works.
Regarding DH Bandipora, he directed the concerned agencies to make lift functional and take up all pending works without delay.
He also asked the concerned to ensure fire safety measures in all Hospitals besides proper waste disposal.
The meeting also discussed various issues related to functioning of hospitals in the district.
The DC directed the concerned to ensure presence of doctors and paramedics in hospitals without fail.
The meeting was attended by ADC Bandipora Waseem Raja, ACR Parvaiz Rahim, Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, CMO , MS DH Bandipora, BMO Hajin and representatives of J&K Housing Board.
