VC DDC Kupwara reviews progress of on-going developmental works

Kupwara :The Vice Chairman District Development Council (VC-DDC) Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir Friday stressed upon the officers to ensure strict adherence to the timelines of different ongoing development works so that people at large could get benefitted under various Rural Development schemes.
The Vice Chairman was addressing a meeting of officers of Rural Development, here Friday to review the progress of various Rural Development schemes including 14th F.C, MGNREGA, SBM, PMAY(R), B2V3 and other allied schemes in DDC Constituency Wavoora.
On the occasion, the Vice Chairman directed the officers for expediting the ongoing works under different RDD schemes in the Wavoora constituency to benefit the general public. He directed the concerned officers for submission of pending estimates under various schemes within 10 days.
The Vice Chairman also directed the concerned for Identification of 1 kanal land in each panchayat for construction of solid waste management units. He further directed them to ensure release of pending payments under SBM and other schemes.
Regarding Mission Youth, the Vice Chairman stressed the need for involvement of unemployed youth under Mission youth schemes for getting livelihood opportunities.
Earlier, the concerned officers briefed the chair about the status of various ongoing developmental works under 14th F.C, MGNREGA, SBM, PMAY(R), B2V3 and other allied schemes.
ACD Kupwara, Mehraj-u-din Shah, ACP Kupwara, Shabir Ahmad; BDO Wavoora/Sogam, JEs, Technical Assistants and concerned officials attended the meeting.
