B’pora :A Weekly KCC Camp under Kisan Bhagidari PrathmiktaHamari (KBPH) campaign was Friday conducted at Meeting Hall of ICD Asham, Bandipora by the Department of Animal Husbandry in collaboration with Lead District Bank.
On the occasion, 38 Dairy KCC Cases were sponsored through different banks.
The camp was chaired by Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Bandipora, Dr Gh Ahmad Lone; Lead District Manager Bandipora, Ishtiyaq Ahmad and Livestock Development Officer Sumbal, Dr Mohd Ashraf were also present.
Nodal Officer, concerned Veterinary Assistant Surgeons along with their staff and concerned Bank Managers also participated in the camp.
The CAHO Bandipora while addressing the farmers explained the potential of KCC scheme to help transform the lives of the economically weaker sections in the Dairy Sector.
The LDO Sumbal explained in detail various schemes undertaken by the department in this financial year.
LDM Bandipora also elaborated the financial aspects of KCC scheme. He directed the Bank Managers to clear the KCC cases within the stipulated time.
Queries raised by farmers were promptly redressed by the officers.
