Distt Level Award ceremony under SVP 2021-22 held at GHSS, Pulwama

Pulwama :The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama BaseerUlHaqChoudhary on Thursday distributed awards among the winning schools of the district under SwachhVidyalayaPuraskar (SVP) 2021-22 in a district level award ceremony held at Govt Higher Secondary school Pulwama
Chief Education Officer, Pulwama Principals, ZEOs, HOIs of all High schools, HOIs of Winner schools, students and public representatives attended the function with great enthusiasm.
Chief Education Officer Pulwama informed that a total 556 schools from district Pulwama had applied online for District Level SVP Award and 210 were approved by the Ministry of Education and Literacy, Govt of India.
After proper physical verification and evaluation of all the schools, 36 schools were selected for District Level SVP Award.
The District Level award ceremony was organised by the Department of Education in Collaboration with District Administration Pulwama to award the winning schools.
Various cultural items on SwachhVidyalaya and Swachh Bharat were presented by school children to create awareness among people about SwatchaAbhiyan.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC highly appreciated the role of CEO and his team for their efforts on Swach Bharat Abhiyan and the successful culmination of SwachhVidyalayaPuraskar ceremony.
Highlighting the importance of swachta, BaseerUlHaqChoudhary urged the participants to be part of the change so that the dream of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan could be attained and realized.
