DCO Ramban inspects medical stores in Dhalwas

Ramban :Drug Control Officer (DCO), RambanImtiyaz Ahmed Thursday conducted an inspection here in Dhalwas area of district Ramban.
During the inspection of medical shops and Drug stores in Health and wellness centre Dhalwas, the Drug Inspector sealed one medical store for violation of various provisions of Drugs and Cosmetic Rules 1945.
A statutory drug sample of 1 drug formulation was lifted from the market for determining the strength and purity. These samples will be referred to the Drug Testing Laboratory for framing legal opinions to ascertain their quality parameters.
He also impressed upon the chemist fraternity to follow the provisions of Drugs and Cosmetic act and rules there under in letter and spirit failing which the department shall be constrained to initiate action against the violators.
MBBS first Prof Result: GMC Doda records 98% & highest biochemistry distinctions in Biochemistry

Doda|June, 30: Government Medical College Doda has among Jammu Division GMCs with 98% result and highest number of Distinctions (14) in the Biochemistry subject.
The result of MBBS first Prof – January- February 2022 was declared Thursday and the students brought laurels to the newly established GMC Doda in term of overall results.
“The highly admired achievement of the GMC Doda is its results in the Biochemistry subject in which the College recorded 98% result and highest number of Distinctions (14) among all the Medical Colleges of Jammu Divisions” an official handout stated.
It further stated that the civil society, Social Organisations , PRIs and locals including founder Principal of the College Dr Tariq Parvez Azad have applauded and congratulated the Principal Dr Noor Ali, faculty of Biochemistry (Dr Kumduni, Dr Ashraf Khan, Dr ShowkatBatt, Dr Gurjinder, Dr Wasim and Kiran) and all those who contributed in achieving this feat.
