B’pora :The first batch of Amarnathyatries were warmly welcomed Thursday upon their arrival at Shadipora Transit Camp Sumbal by the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Bandipora, Dr.Owais Ahmad.
He was accompanied by PRIs of the area besides, locals were also present on the occasion along with staff of different departments.
The DC along with PRIs, locals and traders warmly welcomed the first batch of Yatries.
Meanwhile DC said, District Administration Bandipora has put in place all arrangements in advance for the hassle free Yatra.
He also inspected various facilities including accommodation, bedding, water supply, electricity, langars and RFID counters besides other essentials.
He directed all the concerned departments to ensure uninterrupted service to devotees of Amarnath Yatra.
