Srinagar|June,30 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday said that he has “firm belief” that annual Amarnath Yatra, which started on Thursday this week will be peaceful.
Talking to reporters in Srinagar a day after flagging off the first batch of the Amarnath Yatris from Jammu and meeting with heads of major political parties of Jammu & Kashmir at Srinagar Raj Bhavan Sinha said the he is hopes yatra will be successful and peaceful as well. He said that yatris have come from across the country and he has “firm belief that every Yatri will go back happily and everyone’s prayers are accepted. He further said that he prayed for the “development, peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir, and the entire country” during the virtual darshan from Raj Bhawan.
