B’pora: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad on Tuesday paid a surprise visit to CHC Hajin to check facilities being provided to the patients.
During the visit, the DC inspected various sections of the hospital including OPD and registration counter besides other sections.
He said the health sector is the priority of administration and the District Administration is also taking urgent steps to provide best medical facilities to the people.
Dr.Owais stressed on the role of doctors and para-medical staff for improving performance of hospitals. He advised them to perform duties with added zeal to serve the public.
On the occasion, the DC directed for shifting of OPD to newly constructed buildings.
He also interacted with patients and took feedback from them regarding patient care facilities, availability of medicines and other facilities.
The DC asked the hospital administration to ensure quality patient care services and punctuality of staff. He also stressed on maintaining cleanliness in and around the hospital besides maintaining a hygienic atmosphere.
