Srinagar: Welcoming ensuing Amarnath Yatra , Chairman Jammu & Kashmir People’s Democratic Front (J&K PDF) and former Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has said that the people of Kashmir were eagerly waiting to receive devotees wholeheartedly and with traditional hospitality . He said Amarnath Yatra remained a reckoning force since centuries to refresh bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood in Kashmir adding that they were our revered guests .
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Hakeem while welcoming the annual Amarnath Yatra, starting from ending this month ، has said that the mega annual religious event brings a lot of rich spiritual and broader social contribution in nook and corner of Kashmir – known as land of Sufis and saints . He reiterated that the people of Kashmir were eagerly waiting to receive devotees of Amarnath Yatra wholeheartedly with love and respect . He has asked the people to maintain peace and order during the 40 days long Amarnath Yatra adding that any effort by the enemies of peace and vested interests should be curbed effectively . He has urged Home Minister Amit Shah to curb activities of hate mongers throughout the country so that their machinations to vitiate communal harmony and brotherhood are defeated .
J&K PDF Chairman said that the Amarnath Yatra besides enriching spiritual aura in Kashmir also generates economic activities and provides livelihood to hundreds of people .
