Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on the ‘International Drug Abuse Day’ urged people to supplement efforts in eliminating drug menace from the society.
Lieutenant Governor urged individuals and Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs) to support the effort in eliminating drug menace and promote healthy and drug free society.
On the ‘ International day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking, LG said drug abuse has a wide ranging harmful impact on health and well being of individuals, families and society.
“Drug Abuse has wide-ranging harmful impacts on health & well-being of individuals, families & society. On Int’l Day against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking, I urge individuals, NGOs to supplement Govt’s efforts in eliminating drug menace & promote healthy and drug-free society”, Lieutenant Governor said in a tweet.
