Annual Amarnath Yatra: Dr Owais inspects readiness, at Shadipora Transit Camp

B’pora: Ahead of AmarnathYatra 2022, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr.Owais Ahmed on Saturday conducted inspection of Yatra Transit Camp Shadipora to take stock of the preparedness for accommodating yatries.
On the occasion, a thorough inspection of lodging facilities, electricity, water supply, availability of toilet facility, approaching roads and accommodation was conducted.
Dr.Owais said that the District Administration has put in place all the arrangements for smooth conduct of Yatra. He stressed on ensuring cleanliness inside the transit camp and on the Yatra route.
The DC said that the District Administration has mobilized all the resources including staff and machinery in advance to avoid any inconvenience.
He also directed the concerned to appropriately welcome the Yatries and guide them through the journey.
The DC was accompanied by Sub Divisional Magistrate Sumbal, Dr. Bashir Lone and other concerned officers.
