Change of Land Use: DLC discusses 6 cases in Rajouri

Rajouri: The District Level Committee on change of land use Thursday met under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundal to discuss and approve the applications received online from the applicants from across the district.
Officers who attended the meeting included ACR, Imran Rashid Kataria; GM DIC, Ashwini Sharma; SE Hydraulics, JP Singh; SE PWD(R&B), Nissar Hussain; CAO, Sohan Singh; ExEn PDD Rajouri, Mohd Hasan and other concerned officers.
The committee discussed 06 pleas seeking conversion of agricultural land for non-agricultural purposes.
The DC directed concerned departments to ensure timely issuance of NOCs to the applicants after proper verification of documents and rules under land conversion Regulations, 2022.
He also enquired about the status of NOCs being issued in favour of applicants, the applications received online till date, besides their reporting and follow up status by the concerned departments.
