Kupwara: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir Wednesday visited Sub District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara and reviewed health facilities being provided to the patients there.
The DC inspected various wards including OPD, IPD, Operation Theatre and Gynaecological section, during which he interacted with Cheif Medical Officer (CMO), Doctors, and paramedics and received feedback regarding the facilities.
He also interacted with the patients and enquired about the facilities being provided to them in the Hospital.
DC urged upon the Cheif Medical Officer to further upgrade the facilities so that the patients do not face any inconvenience during their treatment. He directed them to keep round the clock facilities available to the patients of border district Kupwara.
The DC said the health sector is among the top most priorities of the Government and District Administration is committed to provide all possible support to boost the health facilities in the district.
