KU’s HRDC organises online workshop on good research practices

Srinagar: Kashmir University’s Human Resource Development Centre (UGC-HRDC) on Monday organised an online workshop on good academic research practices and academic research integrity in the context of National Education Policy-2020.
The guest speaker for the event was Dr SudhaGaneshan from the Department of Management Studies, Central University of Tamil Nadu. She spoke on the research and academic highlights of NEP 2020 and introduced the participants to the do’s and dont’s of research and how they can get themselves recognised by global publishing giants like Elsevier, Sage, Emerald, Wiley, Taylor and Francis, etc. Her main focus was on creating, publishing, disseminating, and discovering academic research in the reputed high-impact factor journals.
More than 50 participants from various HEIs across the country attended the online workshop. They also shared their experiences of academic and research publishing with the guest speaker.
Director UGC-HRDC KU Prof Mushtaq Ahmad Darzi welcomed the guest speaker and the participants and spoke about the research integrity that can bring academic laurels to the HEIs. He focussed on the role of the Centre in conducting such types of workshops which are meant to bring accreditations to academic and research institutions.
Dr SumeerGul, Coordinator UGC HRDC moderated the session and thanked the guest speaker and the participants.
