Srinagar: Police on Friday said that it has recovered a kidnapped girl in Srinagar and also arrested an accused person involved in the commission of crime.
According to a police statement on 16/06/2022 Police Station Bemina received a written application from one person resident of Khosa Mohalla Khumani Chowk stating therein that his daughter has been kidnapped by Tanveer Ahmad Dar son of Mohd Afzal Dar resident of Khumani Chowk Bemina.
Police in its statement further said that a case vide FIR No. 54/2022 under relevant sections of law was registered and investigation was initiated.
Stating further that during the course of investigation and with strenuous efforts of Police, the kidnapped girl was recovered and the said accused was also arrested from Zadibal area of Srinagar, Police in it’s statement further said that after completion of all legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her legal heirs.
