Poonch: Financial Commissioner Revenue (FCR), Shaleen Kabra Thursday visited district Poonch, wherein he chaired a meeting to review the overall functioning of Revenue Department.
Deputy Commissioner Poonch Inder Jeet, ADC Dr. Basharat Hussain, SDM Surankote, Naheem Un Nissa Bhatti, ACR Poonch, Zaheer Ahmed Kaifi,DIO, IT, Narinder Singh, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars of the district participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, threadbare discussions took place on various issues being confronted by the field functionaries of the department like availability of updated record on Apki Zameen Apki Nigrani, linking of mutations with record available online, internet issues at Niabat level, Human Resource issues, capacity building of staff.
Speaking during the meeting, the Financial Commissioner highlighted the priorities of Government like digitisation of Jamabandies, online delivery of various revenue services and other public friendly initiatives recently started by the government to bring transparency and accountability in the department. The FCR also gave patient hearing to all issues flagged by the field functionaries and offered instant solutions of majority of them.
Kabra directed the officers that five officials be nominated who will be trained in handling online services and they will be master trainer for imparting training to other officials in the district. He stressed that all revenue officers should be computer knowing and directed the officers to organise training sessions for those who are having little knowledge of computers.
The FCR also sought suggestions and feedback from Revenue officers for further improving performance of the department. He also listened to service related grievances of the officers and assured an early redressal of the same.
The FCR exhorted upon all to work with Zeal and dedication to provide best services to public and contribute in lessening the hardships of common masses.
