Hakeem seeks adequate arrangements on Urs of Syed Soleh(RA) Khansahib

Budgam: Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front (J&K PDF)and former Minister , Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has called upon district administration Budgam to make adequate arrangements on the eve of forthcoming annual urs of Syed Saleh (RA) at Khansahib.
According to a statement issued by J&K PDF on Wednesday Hakeem Yaseen who heads the Syed Saleh Trust Khansahib, has urged field functionaries of various concerned departments to put in place all the required facilities for convenience of devotees who throng in thousands at the shrine to pay obeisance to great sufi saint Hazrat Syed Soleh on annual urs being celebrated from 21June upto 24th June with much religious fervor and faith .
According to the statement Hakeem asked the officers to make fool proof arrangements for smooth conduct of the annual Urs of reverred saint Syed Saleh .He asked the concerned officers to keep essentials commodities readily available to the devotees besides ensuring uninterrupted drinking water and power supply in Khansahib and adjacent areas .Hakeem has also urged for making adequate transport arrangements for ferrying devotees to and from various areas upto mausoleum of the Saint at Khan Sahib. He emphasized that adequate number of passenger vehicles should be pressed into service on various routes so that devotees do not face any inconvenience. Hakeem Yaseen also urged for a robust cleanliness and hygiene mechanism adding that garbage collection and dumping should be ensured on daily basis in and around the shrine of Syed Saleh, who is revered in very high esteem and faith by the people from all over the state. For this purpose, he asked the Municipal authorities to reactivate men and machinery at the ground level. He asked the health department to set up special first aid camps on way to Khansahib to meet any exigency.
