Reasi: Deputy Commissioner ReasiBabilaRakwal Wednesday chaired meeting of Revenue officers at District Administrative Complex Reasi regarding digitisation of Revenue Record and Post Delimitation Exercise.
DC deliberated upon the set timelines fixed for digitisation of Jamabandies in the district. She also stressed upon the role and responsibility of each revenue officers in the process and stressed to work with utmost dedication and in coordination with each other to achieve the set targets fixed for the exercise.
Moreover, SDMs and Tehsildars were asked to chalk out action plan and utilise all available resources to achieve the targets in stipulated time.
Deputy Commissioner also interacted with the revenue officers to discuss the issues and hurdles they are facing in the digitisation process.
Later, DC also reviewed the post delimitation exercise being done in district. Timelines issued by Election Commissioner for the purpose were reiterated and all the officers were asked to strictly follow the timeline.
EROs/AEROs were asked to physically verify each polling station before submitting proposals for rationalisation and relocation, and ensure that each polling station has Assured Minimum Facilities (AMF) and electors do not face any difficulties casting their votes.
On this occasion, ADC Abdul Star, ACR Sanjay Badyal, SDMs and Tehsildars were also present in the meeting.
