YSS Organise Competitions In Volleyball, Kho-Kho & Kabaddi

B’gam: Inter-zonal District level competitions of girls for All Age Groups (AAG) in Volleyball, Kho-Kho & Kabaddi got underway at BHSS here.
The competitions were inaugurated by Incharge Activity Ghulam Hassan Khanday and Shakeel Ur Rehman along with Mohd Akram Bhat a senior official of the Department Of Youth Services and Sports. Players from 12 different sports zones of District Budgam are participating in these Competitions. 405 GIRL students are participating in the tourney.
While speaking on the opening ceremony, Senior Officials of the Department appreciated all the participants and applauded the efforts of the Zonal level Staff of the Department for encouraging the young students to take part in Games & Sports.
They impressed upon all the participants to actively participate in games and sports to achieve all-around development of their personality.
Simultaneously at Sports Zone Narbal of the District, senior Officials of the Department flagged-off inter-school zonal level Annual Road Race for U/14 & U/17 BOYS & GIRLS of the district. The race started from the Main stop Kanihama and concluded at Railway Station Mazhama.212 students participated in this race with great enthusiasm.
In Dreygam Sport Zone of District Budgam, Football trials for U/19 boys were conducted in which 39 Students participated at HSS Parnewa. Principal HSS Parnewa inaugurated this event.
