GDC Ajas organises Cleanliness drive

B’pora: A week long cleanliness drive by NSS Unit of Govt. Degree College GDC) AjasBandipora culminated, here Monday.
During the week-long Cleanliness Drives that started from 6th of this month witnessed cleaning of parks and water bodies of the district.
On the first day, the students were briefed about the Cleanliness Drives and its benefits. Under this programme number of activities including cleanliness drives and Painting and Slogan Competition were organised.
The Drives were conducted at various sites ranging from Chashm-e-Nagrad (Nagrad Spring) Ajas, Wullar Vintage Park, Nishat Park Bandipora, PapchanNalla, MadumatiNallahKaloosa and Wullar at Zurimanz.
The drives at Wullar Vintage Park and Wullar at Zurmanz were conducted in collaboration with Wullar Conservation and Management Authority (WUCMA).
