B’pora: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad on Monday chaired a meeting of officers to review the process of switching over of 178 Public Services delivery to online mode which is being implemented as part of Rapid Assessment Services (RAS) system in the district.
It was given out in the meeting that 178 online services of 23 departments are being taken up for integration with the RAS which provides a trigger-based digital reach-out to citizens seeking their feedback on the quality of services availed by them. RAS allows citizens to online track the status of various services thereby minimising the flow of public in offices.
It was given out that 55 out of 178 services are already online and the rest are under process to be available in online mode this week.
To further facilitate ease of service in various government offices, DC directed a complete switch over of 178 services to online mode by June 15. He said the IT Department was also asked to link all online services with respective timelines as prescribed under the Public Service Guarantee Act (PSGA).
Dr Owais urged the officers to ensure that the specified services are added well in time and to ensure feedback is provided about various welfare schemes.
He warned of strict action against those who fail to provide services online.
The meeting was attended by District Programme Officer/ADDC Bandipora, Mohd Ashraf Hakak, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Parvaiz Rahim, DFO Bandipora and other concerned officers while SDM Sumbal, SDM Gurez and other concerned officers from Sub Division Sumbal and Gurez also attended the meeting via virtual mode.
