YS&S Deptt Bandipora organises inter-zonal Distt Level Competition

B’pora: The Department of Youth Services and Sports (YS&S) Bandipora Saturday organised inter zonal District level Competitions in Volleyball, Kabaddi and Kho Kho for U14 and 17 Boys at Boys Hr. secondary School Nadihal.
The teams from all five zones participated in the competition.
The event was held under the supervision of Principal HSS Nadihal and prominent sports personality of Nadihal, Sanauallah Mir.
In U/14 Kho-Kho, zone Bandipora and zone Hajin qualified for the finals. Zone Quilmuqam and zone Hajin qualified for U/17 Kho Kho finals.
In U/17, Kabaddi teams from zone Sumbal and zone Bandipora Qualified for the finals, while as in U/14 Kabaddi, zone Hajin defeated zone Sumbal by 08 points.
In volleyball U/14 teams from zone Sumbal and Hajin qualified for the finals.
An official informed that competition for U/14 and U/17 girls shall be conducted in next week at HSS Nadihal.
