B’la: The GurdwaraParbandhak Committee Election 2022 will be conducted in District Baramulla on 27th of this month.
Under the Supervision of Returning Officer/ Assistant Commissioner Revenue Baramulla, PeerzadaMumtaz, Symbols were allotted Friday among the contesting candidates of District Prabandhak Committee soon after the nomination papers were scrutinized on June 7.
On the occasion, Returning Officer Baramulla informed that a total of 45 Candidates have submitted their nomination papers in Baramulla in which 19 candidates have withdrawn their forms and 03 candidates have been declared unopposed winners, thereby 23 candidates are now contesting elections being held in 8 GPC constituencies.
It was also informed that 21 polling stations are being established across the district for GurdwaraPrabandhak Committee Elections 2022 for which necessary training for the staff being deployed to the polling stations are being given for the smooth and fair conduct of the elections.
