DC G’bal inspects progress on Transit Accommodation at Wandhama

G’bal: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir Friday inspected the progress on Transit Accommodation for Kashmiri Pandits coming up at Wandhama, Ganderbal.
SSP Ganderbal, Nikhil Borkar and Executive Engineer R&B accompanied the DC during the visit.
During his visit to the site for Transit Accommodation the DC assessed the progress on works being executed there. Executive Engineer R&B briefed the DC about progress of work on the project and discussed the layout plan for Transit Accommodation.
He was informed that the project which comprises 12 apartments with 192 flats having total plot area of 30 Kanal had been approved for an amount of Rs. 23 crore.
Regarding work completion on the project as on date, the DC was informed that structure work of all blocks is completed besides brick work of 7 blocks and truss of 5 blocks is also completed. Further, sanitation and electric work is also in full swing.
On the occasion, the DC reviewed the site layout plan for allied works which include Boundary wall, approach and inner road. He gave on spot directions for early submitting DPR of these works and exhorted upon the executing agency to expedite the progress of work by way of engaging more men and machinery so that project gets completed within the stipulated time frame without compromising the quality of work.
