ACD Kupwara visits remote border areas in Karnah, Stresses for timely completion of works

Kupwara: The Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Kupwara Mehrajud din Friday conducted an extensive tour of remote and border areas of Karnah sub division to review the implementation of RDD schemes and take on spot appraisal of various works under execution in border areas of Jabdi-Bijaldara and other areas.
During the visit, the ACD also held a detailed review meeting with the employees of twin blocks of Tangdar and teetwal. He asked the employees to ensure timely completion of works while sticking to maintaining quality standards of work.
He impressed upon the officials to put in concerted and coordinated efforts to achieve developmental timelines and to meet aspirations of the people living in remote border areas.
ACD also underscored the need to make the general public aware about the guidelines and benefits of the RDD Schemes under implementation for percolating the benefits to the people at large.
Later, the ACD held an interactive meeting with all PRIs of Sub division Karnah and highlighted their role in development and implementation of various schemes.
Earlier, ACD Kupwara who also holds additional charge of District Programme officer Kupwara, convened a meeting of concerned in the office of CDPO Tangdar.
On the occasion, a threadbare discussion regarding various schemes of ICDS was held including the progress and implementation of various centrally and UT sponsored schemes.
DPO also reviewed the progress of BetiBachaoBetiPadhao (BBBP) scheme.
He was accompanied by BDO Tanghar/Teetwal, Tawheed Ahmad Mir during the visit.
