Khalid Jahangir complimented DHA Kupwara for receiving awards at MCH Conclave

Kupwara: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir Wednesday complimented District Health Administration (DHA) Kupwara for receiving various awards during Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Conclave held at SKICC Srinagar. The awards were given by Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, R.R Batnagar in presence of Joint secretary RCH GoI and MD National Health Mission J&K.As per details, the district Kupwara has bagged 8 awards for its extraordinary performance and tireless efforts in different indicators of Health sector. The district has shown commendable performance under PMSMA and JananiShishuSurakshaKaryakaram (JSSK) for financial year 2021-22.Under KAYAKALP, PHC Qalamabad and HWC ShulooraKralpora have been awarded as winners while as PHC Drugmulla, PHC Trehgam and HWC Potushai were felicitated with commendation awards.
The Deputy Commissioner while complimenting the District Health Administration and the individual health institutions said that they have taken concerted efforts to achieve the parameters for winning awards. He asked the District Health Administration including CMO, BMOs and Medical and paramedical staff to work with added zeal and dedication to further improve the quality standards of healthcare facilities in the district.
Chief Medical Officer Kupwara also congratulated the ground level workers for their tremendous efforts for bagging the awards and bringing laurels to the District. He said the award is an acknowledgement to the best performance by the district on different indicators of health and shall further motivate health functionaries to work exceptionally well in other fields as well.
