Srinagar|June, 7: Two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militants were on Tuesday killed in an encounter with government forces in the Chaktaras Kandi area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara, Police said in a tweet, stating therein that one of the two militants killed in the encounter was a Pakistani national named Tufail.
Kashmir Zone Police on it’s twitter handle quoted IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar as saying that two militants of LeT militant outfit including one Pakistani militant named Tufail were killed in an encounter in Chaktaras Kandi area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district. In an earlier tweet Kashmir Zone Police had said that the encounter between the militants and security forces has commenced in the area
