DC Jammu reviews progress of works under Distt plan, BADP

Jammu|Deputy Commissioner AvnyLavasa Monday reviewed the progress of works under BAPD, MPLAD and District Capex Budget plan 2022-23 including DDC, BDC, and PRI components.
The Deputy Commissioner took a detailed department wise review of the works. She directed the officers to incorporate in the BADP Plan only those works that can be completed within the time limit. She also asked them to identify the works by consulting the PRI members so that maximum people benefit from the same.
The concerned officers were asked to complete the BADP works by 30th December this year. She also asked the concerned officials to float the tenders of all identified works by 30th June.
The Deputy Commissioner further directed to expedite the works under MPLAD and submit the report regarding deliverables.
The DC stressed on the concerned authorities to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of ongoing works for their time-bound completion.
ACD, Satish Sharma, ACD Ashok Choudhary, CPO YoginderKatoch, BDOs besides senior officers were present in the meeting.
