Kishtwar: Deputy Commissioner Ashok Sharma Saturday convened an interactive conference of revenue officials here at district headquarters and deliberated upon set targets for digitisation of Jamabandis in the district.
The DC highlighted the role and responsibility of each revenue officers in the process and stressed to work with utmost dedication and in coordination with each other to achieve the set targets in time bound manner.
He stressed upon SDMs and Tehsildars to chalk out an action plan to achieve the set targets.
During the meeting DC Kishtwar also interacted with the field functionaries of revenue department to discuss the issues and hurdles faced by them on the ground level in the effective deliverance of public oriented services.
Later, the meeting was also apprised about the various deliverables set by UT govt for revenue department and DC stressed all concerned to focus on the attainment of these deliverables as per the timeline issued by higher ups.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kishori Lal Sharma; SDM Chatroo, Inderjeet Singh Parihar; ACR, Varunjeet Singh Charak; SDM Marwah, Dr Mohsin Raza; Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and Girdawars besides Patwaris.
