DPO B’pora conducts extensive tour of Gurez/ Tulail

B’pora| : The District Programme Officer (DPO) ICDS Bandipora, M Ashraf Hakak conducted two days extensive tour of Gurez.
The DPO conducted a tour of various areas of Gurez including Tulail to take detailed review of various ongoing schemes.
During his visit, DPO inspected various Anganwadi Centres in Gurez, Tulail and Bagtore Block.
He inspected progress on visible Anganwadi centres, availability of facilities like drinking water and toilet facility.
The DPO during the visit also reviewed the implementation of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao programme.
Hakak said, Gurez valley has 110 functional Aaganwari centres with drinking water and toilet facilities.
He conducted inspections to check implementation status regarding procurement of Nutrition, number of children enrolled in the Anganwadi Centers, POSHAN Abhiyan, Ladli Beti, scheme for Adolescent Girls and other allied schemes.
Hakak, who is also holding the charge of ADDC Bandipora, also discussed the development scenario with SDM Gurez Dr. Mudasir.
He sought details on physical and financial achievement on various developmental works in sub division Gurez.
He asked the concerned executing agencies to enhance the pace of work on various developmental works keeping in view the limited working season of Gurez.
