DDC Kupwara inspects Fruit Mandi Handwara, Industrial Estate Chotipora

Kupwara| : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir Friday visited Handwara sub division and inspected various establishments including Fruit Mandi Handwara and Industrial Estate Chotipora.
While inspecting the Fruit Mandi Handwara, the DDC gave on spot various directions to the concerned officers for development of Mandi. He directed for maintenance of proper sanitation in and around the premises of the Mandi. He also directed for augmentation of Water supply and other civic facilities there.
Regarding construction of shops, the DDC directed the concerned officers to cancel the allotment of those allottees who have not yet constructed their shops in the mandi.
Reviewing water supply, the DDC directed Executive Engineer PHE to restore the water supply to the premises of Area Marketing office.
Later, the DDC inspected Industrial Estate Chotipora and took stock of the arrangements there. He directed Executive Engineer PHE for smooth water supply to the Industrial Estate. He also directed concerned for restoration of damaged street lights and stressed for keeping sanitation and proper drainage in and around the Industrial Estate.
ADC Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir and concerned Officers accompanied the DDC.
