DC B’gam chairs meeting on Good Governance Deliverables

B’gam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza Thursday chaired a meeting of officers convened in New Conference Hall Budgam to take stock of preparations for implementation of Good Governance Deliverables.
The DC took a detailed and department wise review of public deliverables allocated in advance to each line department in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC emphasized that deliverables are aimed for comprehensive and overall upliftment of socio-economic prosperity of the district.
On the occasion, all the departments presented the status of various developmental works undertaken and in pipeline in various sectors including Social Welfare, Tourism, Social Forestry, R&B, PMGSY, Health, Education, Rural development, Revenue etc.
Mirza exhorted upon all the officers to accomplish all the deliverables according to a fixed timeline and submit action taken reports on a daily basis.
He stressed to expedite the pace of work so that all the undertaken projects are completed well within the stipulated time period.
The DC instructed all concerned to ensure that Detailed Project Reports wherever required shall be framed and forwarded to higher authority at an earliest.
District Administration shall provide all necessary support and assistance wherever needed in successful implementation of deliverables aimed at promoting Good Governance, the DC added.
