DDC Doda discusses Dev Deliverables fixed by govt for FY 2022-23

DM directs line deptt’s to ensure qualitative, timely completion of the targets

Doda : A meeting to discuss and deliberate on the exhaustive list of developmental deliverables to be achieved in the financial year 2022-23 was held Wednesday under the chairmanship of District Development commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma.
The meeting was attended by SE PWD, SE JPDCL, SE Hydraulics, SE PMGSY, CPO Doda, ACD Doda, AC Panchayats Doda, and other district and sectoral officers.
During the meeting, a detailed insight was given by concerned officers regarding the targets set by the Govt. The DDC directed the departments to meticulously pursue the relevant timelines and deliver qualitative results. Besides, threadbare deliberation was also held on the role and responsibility of each department to achieve the assigned targets.
All the departments were asked to focus on the set targets to propel the growth and development in the district by prioritizing the transformative activities in their respective areas and to ensure greater efficiency in overall governance.
While reviewing the monthly target of the I&FC department, it was informed to the chair that desilting of all the irrigation channels have been completed across the district. The DDC directed the concerned to submit the updated status including the data showing defunct and functional channels. He asked the line departments to pursue the allotment of funds with higher authorities to meet the deliverables fixed for one month.
The DDC constituted a Committee headed by ADDC with ACD, AC Panchayats, DIO (NIC) Doda, and DIO Doda as members for chalking out an action plan and making recommendations for meeting the IT deliverables. He further asked ADDC Doda to call a meeting of BSNL authorities so that net facility was assured in all the Panchayats of the district.
Regarding RDD deliverables, it was informed that J&K administration has fixed 26 deliverables to be achieved by the department. While discussing each component of RDD deliverables, the DDC directed asked the department to work for establishment of offices of Panchayat secretariats and VLWs in all the 237 panchayats, completion of all the sanctioned PMAY houses and IHHL units in the given time.
The meeting also discussed deliverables set by J&K administration like Website for all panchayats, Wage employment demand saturation, HarKam Par Naam, Social audit through gram sabha, Panchayat resource mobilization pIan, Panchayat Convergence Plan, Monthly progress report of panchayat level functionaries, Rural Haats, Panchayat digital asset register, Panchayat heritage plan, Swacch gram, Panchayat good governance index, Panchayat climate resilience plan, Panchayat youth contractor registration programme, Panchayat livelihood Ian, Panchayat digital literacy plan, Panchayat tourism Ian, Bharat net saturation, Panchayat transparency framework Awardees, Plastic-freepanchayat, AzadiKa Amrit Mahotsav etc.
The DDC Doda stressed on greater inter-departmental convergence and coordination to achieve the desired results in various priority areas set by the J&K government within a set timeline.
The District officers of the line departments were asked to conduct regular meetings to monitor the progress in order to achieve quantifiable results.
