DDC Doda declares Inter-Zone Distt level tournament open

Doda: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda, Vikas Sharma Wednesday declared the Inter-zone district level tournament open here at Sports Stadium. The Sports event has been organised under the aegis of Sports Department Doda in which around 15 different games will be played by the student players of different zones.
Addressing the players, the DDC admired all of them for actively participating in the games especially in outdoor activities. He advised them to give priority to the outdoor games which are extremely important for the overall health and personality development of individuals.
Further, the DDC said that soon the Multipurpose Indoor Hall will be dedicated to the youth of this district. Besides, he asked the DYSSO to coordinate with the executing agency and pass on the directions to ensure the completion of the Multipurpose Indoor Hall by 15th June positively.
Moreover, the DDC directed the DYSSO to identify the land in all the zones so that a comprehensive project was conceived for the construction of playfields, to create viable sports infrastructure for the sports lovers at the nearest possible locations.
Among others present during the inaugural ceremony were DYSSO Doda JaffarHaider Sheikh and the staff of the Sports Department.
