DC Rajouri Flags off 8 Ambulances to Rural and Border Health Institutions

Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundal, in presence of Chief Medical Officer, Dr Abdul Hamid Zargerand Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Khurshid, on Wednesday flagged off 8 Car ambulances to Rural and Border Health Institutions of different blocks for facilitating the patients.
The Ambulances have been purchased under PRI grants of Area Development Program to strengthen the patient care services in the rural areas.
Speaking to the media at the flag off ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner said that the provision of the ambulances formed persistent public demand of the people of far flung areas, which has been met Wednesday. “Evacuating patients from far flung areas throws up a big challenge in the absence of an Ambulance. So this long pending demand of these areas has been met.”
The Chief Medical Officer informed that these ambulances will be stationed at PHC Hatthal; Sub CenterDeriRalyote; Sub CenterKallali; Sub CenterKewalMorh; Sub CenterKheri 2nd; Sub Center MANGLA Devi and ISM Qila Darhal.
