DC Budgam chairs Public Darbar at Tilsara Char-i-Sharief

B’gam : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza Wednesday chaired a public darbar at High School, Tilsara in Char-i-Sharief.
At the outset, various PRIs, village elders and other respectedfrom Dardpora, Malpora, Dalwan, Charowni areas and other adjoining villages raised issues and demands with the DC and demanded timely resolution.
The issues and demandsraised by localsincluded establishment of filtration plant, retro fitting of pipeline, fencing of schools and other government buildings, macadamization of various roads including Tilsara- Dalwan, Bonhad- Tilsara roads, PatwariKhana facility, irrigation supply, cold store for fruit growers, Handicraft centre, functioning of Public Health Centre, restoration of pipeline, improvement in HT, LT lines, power supply, bank branch, public transport and a Horticulture centre.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that aRs 7 crore project has been approved for the Tilsara under JJM, under which a filtration plant shall be established and retrofitting of pipeline shall be carried out to ensure safe and adequate potable water supply to the area.
In order to ensure better health care facilities, the DC directed concerned to ensure completion of PHC building in a month’s time. He instructed concerned to establish a sports ground facility for local youth.
On the occasion, students and local youth also called uponthe DC and raised their demands with him.
The DC also inspected various classrooms to inspect facilities and interacted with students at Govt High School Tilsara.
Later, the DC also inspected under construction PHC to take stock of work progress. He directed concerned to complete pending work including power fitting, water connection, fencing and road development in a month’s time to ensure the health care facility is opened for normal functioning at the earliest.
The DC inaugurated macadimization of Kulibagh-Repora road in Chadoora and instructed on speedy work completion of the road project.
He also inspected work progress of under-construction new 10 MVA receiving station at Ranger.
The DC emphasised that work is expedited and project is completed within a stipulated timeframe.
Among others, SDM Chadoora, Dy. CEO, BMO, Executive Engineers from various Engineering Wings, district heads of Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, BDO, DMO and other concerned officers and officials were also present on the occasion.
